Not only are Claw Clips a foolproof accessory, but they’re also comfortable and great for your hair. No pulling or tugging like some other hair accessories, you can wear them all day without any discomfort or damage.

If you’re new to the Claw Clip trend or just want some inspiration, read on for three flattering Claw Clip styles you can try out on your own.

The French Twist
The easiest style to start off with would have to be The French Twist. All you need is your Claw Clip and a hairbrush if you have time, but it’s optional.

Step 1: Pull your hair back like you’re going to do a low ponytail.
Step 2: Hold the base of your ponytail with your right hand and use your left pointer finger to twist your hair.
Step 3: Hold the twisted hair in position with your left hand and secure it to your head with your Claw Clip.

Optionally you can pull out some hair from the front of your face to add some framing.

Half Up Half Down
This is a common hairstyle usually created with a hair tie, but it can also be done with a Claw Clip.

Step 1: Section off the desired amount of hair you’re wanting to clip up and add some Eco Style Project Dry Shampoo to add texture and grip.
Step 2: Use the same motion from the first style and twist the hair with your left pointer finger while holding the base of the ponytail with your right hand.
Step 3: Secure the twisted hair to your head with the Claw Clip and adjust as desired.

Depending on your hair length this will create a different vibe. If you have long hair the ends will hang over the clip and create beautiful volume. Whereas short hair, your ends will stick up, which also creates an elevated look.

Slick Back Bun
This style is a little more complex but is still user-friendly. This would be ideal for someone who has time to experiment with their hair.

Step 1: Gather your hair into a mid-height ponytail and brush backward to create a slicker look. Leave out some front pieces if desired. To take your slick back to the next level you can add some Eco Style Project Firm Hold Hairspray to lock everything in place.
Step 2: Hold the base of the ponytail with your right hand and twist the hair with your left pointer finger.
Step 3: Wrap the hair around itself as you would with a normal bun. Depending on your hair length and type, you may want to secure the bun with a small elastic band before adding the Claw Clip.
Step 4: Secure the bun with a Claw Clip and voila, you’ve created an easy, yet elevated style.

To make this style more fun you could plait the front pieces of hair you left out to create a more cute, girly style.
